Web Design in Liberty Hill, TX

Electrical, tree and landscaping businesses in Liberty Hill can get a website from me that answers homeowners' questions. Inside the city limits, outdoor lights fall under a dark-sky lighting ordinance.

About

A site that answers before they call

Plenty of what Liberty Hill homeowners ask you on the job, a good website can answer first. Does this light meet the city's rules? Can you look at my oak? Do you work past the river? I'm Carter, a website designer who writes those answers in plain words and builds the site around them.

Electricians, tree services, plumbers, landscapers and roofers each hear different questions, so each site is written in that trade's own words. That's most of what website design means to me. The name Fletch SEO may sound like a web design company, but it's just me, so whatever you send lands with me.

I'm based in Austin and build websites for home service businesses wherever they are. It all happens online, so working together is easy from anywhere.

Pecan Street Pools is a made-up Austin pool company, built the way I'd build yours: a call button on every phone screen, pages for the main services and a quote form.

Local know-how

What Liberty Hill homeowners may ask

“Can I put up these lights?” The City of Liberty Hill has committed to becoming a Dark Skies Community. Its lighting ordinance aims to cut misplaced light, like light trespass: unwanted light from one property spilling into a neighbor's. New homes must follow it now. Existing homes inside the city limits have a set date to comply. An electrician's lighting page can spell that out.

“Is my oak tree sick?” The city's own community page points residents to oak wilt education. A tree service that says what it looks for, and what it does next, has answered half the call before the phone rings.

“Do you work out this way?” Liberty Hill sits on SH 29, between the north and south forks of the San Gabriel River. SH 29 heads east to Georgetown and west through Bertram, in Burnet County. RM 1869 runs northeast to US 183 and southwest into Burnet County too. The 183A toll road comes up from Leander to SH 29.

Whoever asks that hopes to see their own town on your site. In setup, list Liberty Hill and the places around it you work, with the ones you want calls from most up front: the first few after your home base get town pages.

Questions

Questions a Liberty Hill trade might ask

Someone else controls my Google profile. Can you still look after it?

Yes, once the owner says so. On Website + Google, setup has a choice for it: “I can't get in, or someone else owns it.” Pick it, and I ask Google for access from my account. Whoever owns the profile gets an email from Google to approve it.

Is a website worth it for a trade out in the Hill Country?

It can be. A site shows your work and answers the questions you hear on most jobs, so someone choosing whom to call already knows what you do. That's what good web design is for. I can't promise calls, since Google decides who ranks. The Website plan, the lowest, is $197 a month with no contract, so trying it doesn't tie you down.

I run my business from home. Does my address have to be on my site?

No. The address in setup is optional. Leave it blank, or clear it if it's filled in, and your site shows what a customer needs instead: your phone number, the services you offer and the towns you work in. A homeowner cares that you cover their street, not where your truck parks at night.

Do the photos and words I send you stay mine?

Yes. The agreement says it plainly: the photos and words you send stay yours. That covers the shots of your finished jobs, your list of services and anything you write about yourself in setup. I build your site from them, and they're still yours to use on a flyer, a truck door or your own Google profile.
