Web Design in Leander, TX

Websites with a call button and a quote form for Leander electricians, plumbers and landscapers. The Red Line ends at Leander Station; your work runs past it, into new neighborhoods, large estates and nearby towns.

About

Past the last stop on the line

Not every customer can stop and call you. Someone riding the Red Line toward downtown Austin, with a water heater that quit at home, would rather type than talk on a train. The train has free Wi-Fi, so they search, find your site and send a quote request before their stop.

I'm Carter, a website designer for electricians, plumbers, HVAC companies, landscapers and tree crews, and I build every site myself. Every site I build gives a customer two ways to reach you: one tap to call, or a quote form for when talking won't work. Either way, the request reaches you.

I'm based in Austin and build websites for home service businesses wherever they are. It all happens online, so working together is easy from anywhere.

Pecan Street Pools Sample business

Pecan Street Pools is a made-up Austin pool company, built the way I'd build yours: a call button on every phone screen, pages for the main services and a quote form.

A rail town that kept growing

What the end of the line looks like now

Leander began beside a railroad. The city's history page says the new line was built a mile east of a town called Bagdad, and many of Bagdad's businesses and residents moved to be near the new station. Now the 32-mile Red Line runs up from downtown Austin and ends at Leander Station.

The city's housing page talks about remarkable growth. It lists single-family houses, large estates, townhomes, condominiums, multifamily buildings and assisted living centers. So a landscaper's jobs in town can run from an estate lot to a townhome patio, and a plumber's from a new house to a condo kitchen.

Two roads carry the work past the station. RM 2243 runs east from US 183 to Georgetown. The 183A toll road links Leander with Cedar Park and Liberty Hill. Those are the roads a roofer or an HVAC crew takes to the next job.

  1. 1Start

I talk with you about your business and what you need.

You pick a plan and pay by card or bank account.

  2. 2Build

You fill in a short, easy setup in your portal, and I build your site from your answers and your photos.

You review your preview, with one round of changes.

Questions

Questions I'd ask in your shoes

Do I need my own photos?

Yes. Your own photos are part of every site I build, and they do a job words can't: a rider scrolling your site on the train sees the work itself, not a stranger's stock picture. I build your site from your setup answers and your photos. Add them from your phone or a computer in the photos step, which stays open after you finish setup.

I built my own site. What would a replacement cost a month?

The Website plan, my lowest, is $197 a month, with no contract. For that, you stop being your own webmaster: I design and build the new site, host it, keep it running and make reasonable small edits. A change becomes a message to me, not a ticket in the queue at a web design company. The first setup step has a spot for your current site's address, and I read through it before I write the new one.

What does “basic SEO” mean, in plain words?

SEO is making a site easy for Google to read and to match with what people search. It's part of my website design from the start: your main services and towns get pages that name them plainly. It's the groundwork, not a promise: I don't promise rankings, calls or sales.

I'm not a computer person. Is setup hard?

No. It's a short form in your portal, one step at a time. The first step shows the business details I already have; fix anything that's off. Services and towns are typed in one by one. Then come a few lines about you, your photos and your domain. Press Finish later, and you pick up where you left off.
