Web Design in Hutto, TX

Websites that lead with your own photos, for Hutto plumbers, HVAC techs and tree crews. The City estimates 5,000 to 10,000 concrete hippos here, many painted to match a home or business.

About

Your business, the way it really looks

I'm Carter Fletcher, and I like a town that shows itself off. A good website does the same for a trade business. A homeowner choosing who to trust with a failed water heater or a pool pump that won't start wants to see your face, your van and your work, not a stranger in a stock photo.

So as your website designer, I put your own photos up front, whether you fix pipes, tune AC units or take down trees. Your hours, your services and a few lines about you go right with them. You'll show customers who you are, so you should know who builds your site: me, one person, not a web design company.

I'm based in Austin and build websites for home service businesses wherever they are. It all happens online, so working together is easy from anywhere.

Pecan Street Pools Sample business

Pecan Street Pools is a made-up Austin pool company, built the way I'd build yours: a call button on every phone screen, pages for the main services and a quote form.

Old Town, the Co-Op and the roads out

Restored houses, a cotton gin and two highways

The City calls Old Town the heart of Hutto. It covers the original town, and many of its historic homes have been restored. Its commercial historic district, twelve brick buildings, is on the National Register. A restored house needs careful work, and its owner will want to see some of yours before calling.

On Old Town's west edge sits the Co-Op District, land the city calls a reminder of its farming past. Its old cotton gin is now an event venue, and the new City Hall and library are there too.

Hutto's economic development site puts it at SH 130 and Highway 79, in eastern Williamson County. SH 130 links it with Georgetown one way and Manor the other. Highway 79 runs west to Round Rock, about seven miles off, and east to Taylor. An electrician or a roofer working those roads can show a finished job from each town.

Questions

Questions about the personal side of website design

My photos are from my phone. Are they good enough?

Usually, yes. A clear phone photo of real work does more for you than a stock picture. Setup lists what helps most: finished jobs, before-and-after shots, you and your team at work, and your truck or equipment. Daylight helps, and you can skip the filters. A customer should see what you really do.

What goes in the Meet the owner part?

A few lines about you, and they're optional. You might say how you got into the trade, who picks up when a customer calls, or why you still climb the ladder yourself. Setup explains why it asks: this helps customers trust you. I build that part of your site from what you write.

Will my business hours show on my site?

Yes. Setup asks for your hours in your own words, by-appointment times included, and I put them on your site where a customer will see them before calling. If they change later, tell me through your portal and I update them.

Do new photos cost extra?

No. New photos count as a reasonable small edit, and those come with every plan, from $197 a month. The photos and videos step in setup stays open, so if your landscaping crew wraps up a job worth showing, send the before-and-after shots in. Once your site is live, ask for photo changes through your portal. Bigger jobs, like a new section, are quoted first.
