Web Design in Bastrop, TX

Bastrop tree crews, roofers and fence builders: I build websites that show your storm work. El Camino Real crossed the Colorado River here, a strategic spot that became the county seat.

About

When a pine comes down, who gets the call?

After a storm in pine country, the list is short: a limb on the driveway, a stain on the ceiling, a fence leaning over. The homeowner needs a tree service, a roofer or a fence installer. The one whose site shows the work and puts a call button right there is easy to choose.

I'm Carter, a website designer for the trades that homeowner calls: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, tree care, fences, pools and yards. Every page of my website design leads to a call button or a quote form, and each quote request lands in your email and your portal.

I'm based in Austin and build websites for home service businesses wherever they are. It all happens online, so working together is easy from anywhere.

Pecan Street Pools Sample business

Pecan Street Pools is a made-up Austin pool company, built the way I'd build yours: a call button on every phone screen, pages for the main services and a quote form.

The county seat on the Colorado

A river crossing, a pine forest and four state highways

The river. A Texas Historical Commission marker explains why the town is here: El Camino Real crossed the Colorado River at this spot, which made it strategic. In 1837 the town took the name Bastrop and was named the county seat.

The pines. Texas Parks and Wildlife calls the Lost Pines the westernmost stand of loblolly pines in the United States. The county's Lost Pines Habitat Conservation Plan, for the endangered Houston toad, covers about 124,000 acres of known and potential toad habitat, and the county says most of it is on private land.

The roads. TxDOT's route descriptions bring four state highways to Bastrop. SH 71 leaves Austin heading southeast, passes through town and carries on to Smithville. SH 95 comes down from Taylor through Elgin, SH 21 runs northeast from near San Marcos, and SH 304 comes up from Gonzales.

Your site. A tree crew that knows pine from oak, or a landscaper who works the area's sandy soil, has something real to say on a service page. Good web design here puts that know-how where a customer can read it.

How it works

  1. 1Start

I talk with you about your business and what you need.

You pick a plan and pay by card or bank account.

You fill in a short, easy setup in your portal, and I build your site from your answers and your photos.

You review your preview, with one round of changes.

Questions

Questions from out in the pines

I add a seasonal service, like gutter guards or holiday lights. Can my site keep up?

Yes. A new service is one of the reasonable small edits every plan includes. Send it as an edit request through your portal, and when the season turns, send another to change the wording. Each request reaches me, the person who built your site, since I run Fletch SEO by myself rather than as a web design company.

Some of my jobs are down county roads with no town name. How do I list them?

List them the way your customers say them. The Where you work step in setup takes towns and areas, one at a time, so you can add Cedar Creek, Smithville or a community out in the pines alongside Bastrop itself. Put the places you most want calls from first: the first few after your main town get pages of their own.

Does a busy storm season raise my monthly price?

No. Your price follows your plan, not how often you write to me. The Website plan is $197 a month, with hosting, upkeep and reasonable small edits included, so new photos of the pine you took off a roof, or a cleanup service added to your list, cost nothing extra. A bigger job, like a new section or a redesign, gets a price from me first, and you decide.

Can my site use my company colors?

Yes. Your colors are part of every site, along with your own photos. Setup has a spot for colors you love or want to avoid, like the green on your trucks. I design around that, and you see it in your preview before launch, with one round of changes if something's off.
